Amylase is a kind of enzyme that decomposes starch   in livestock and poultry. It is an efficient endogenous enzyme in gastrointestinal digestive system of livestock and poultry. Under the condition of PH2.5-3.5,Acid amylase endo-Glucosinase, with the ability to hydrolyze raw starch, rapidly hydrolyze α-1,4 glucosidic bond, but can not hydrolyze α-1,6 glucoside bond, resulting in a large amount of glucose, maltose, maltotriose and α-dextrin. 


Enzyme Activity Definition:

Acid amylase: 1 g solid enzyme powder liquefies 1 mg soluble starch at 40°C, pH 3.0 for 1 min, which is a unit of enzyme activity, expressed as U/g.


Functions:

  1. It can effectively make up for the deficiency of amylase secretion in gastrointestinal tract of young livestock and poultry, improve the digestibility of young livestock and poultry, and lay the foundation for later growth.
  2. Effectively improve the sub-health status of elderly livestock and poultry caused by feeding density, increasing unconventional diet, replacement of raw feed and other factors.
  3. Stimulate the secretion of endogenous amylase in the animal itself and improve the digestion and absorption of starch in the diet.
