Mechanism of Action:
1.Promoting secretion of growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor
Cysteamine (CS) can specifically bind to the disulfide bonds of somatostatin (SS), effectively reducing the immunoreactivity of SS in the hypothalamus, stomach, and duodenum. this relieves the inhibitory effect of SS on various hormones such as growth hormone (GH) in the body, indirectly increasing the concentration of GH and promoting the growth of livestock and poultry.
2. Improving the conversion efficiency of sulfur-containing amino acids
Cysteamine (CS) has various physiological effects due to its active thiol group and amino group, acting as a decarboxylation product of cysteine. It is a component of coenzyme A molecules. CS participates in the synthesis and metabolism of important biological substances in the body, such as cysteine, glutathione (GSH), taurine, and homotaurine, contributing to the maintenance of the body's antioxidant defense system.
