NCG Mechanism
N-carbamyglutamate (NCG) is a innovative feed additive, which is the metabolically stable analogue of N-acetylglutamate (NAG). It activates CPS-1 and P5Cs instead of NAG and acts as a rate-limiting enzyme of CPS- Therefore, it can increase the consumption of NH3, HCO3 and decrease the blood ammonia.
Functions:
Supplementation of exogenous NCG can promote the synthesis and metabolism of endogenous Arginine, to produce NO (nitric oxide) and Polyamines via urea circulation.
NO can dilate blood vessels and increse blood supply to promote angiogenesis and the formation of capillaries.
Polyamines can reglulats DNA and protein synthesis and helps the cell proliferation and differentiation of organisms.
So NCG can promote the synthesis of endogenous arginine family amino acids and improve animal production performance.
