Glucose oxidase is an oxidase preparation produced by liquid fermentation of penicillium notatum. It has strong detoxification, bacteriostatic and antioxidation effects, and has a broad application prospect in the field of animal husbandry.
Enzyme Activity Definition:
1.0 g solid enzyme powder, when the temperature is 37 and pH is 6.0, and the substrate concentration is 1.0 mol/l, the amount of enzyme required to oxidize 1 μmol glucose to gluconic acid and H202 per minute is defined as 1 enzyme activity.
Functions:
- Prevention and mitigation of intestinal mycotoxin poisoning: glucose oxidase can directly inhibit aflatoxin, Rhizopus nigra, penicillium and other fungi, can prevent and alleviate the poisoning phenomenon caused by aflatoxin livestock and poultry.
- Inhibition of intestinal bacteria growth: glucose oxidase into the intestinal tract can be oxidized to produce gluconic acid and hydrogen peroxide, direct inhibition of E. coli, salmonella and other harmful bacteria.
- Improve the gastrointestinal acidic environment: glucose oxidase into the digestive tract after the reaction process to generate gluconic acid, creating the intestinal acidic environment, reduce the gastrointestinal pH value, activate the activity of digestive enzymes, so as to facilitate the digestion and absorption of nutrients.
